I design and carve each motif into linoleum (see the last picture for the linoleum plate). Fabriano Unica paper is beautifully thick and soft, and is ideal for blind embossing. The paper is soaked and laid on top, and this is then sent through the stainless steel rollers of my little etching press at great pressure. The letters then emboss into the paper.
