Dover Lighthouse Linocut
Original Linocut - Dover Breakwater Knuckle lighthouse
Dover breakwater was built in 1909 and it was used as a safe shelter for ships in both World Wars. The knuckle lighthouse marks the bend in the breakwater, and this lighthouse is best viewed from a cross-channel ferry.

I design and carve each motif into linoleum before inking the plates and hand printing them using Alma, my 130 year old Victorian cast iron manual book press. There will be variations between each print, making each one unique. *Please be aware that this print uses a 'gradient roll' for the sky, and it is impossible to generate identical prints. Sometimes, the sky is darker or lighter - I have tried to show this natural variation in the photos. If you would like a particularly light or dark print, please send me a message along with your order and I will do my best to select a print for you.
